Tricities Community Development Center (TCCDC) has developed a program to increase the number of community leadership opportunities for the formerly incarcerated in Alameda County.
The target population for this program is realigned individuals who have disengaged from services or are struggling to successfully complete case and treatment plans.
The Peer to Peer program provides leadership development, coaching, and peer navigation to promote positive change.
Through this program, TCCDC will continue to increase sustainable employment opportunities. After clients have achieved stability and completed their individual program components, they will be eligible to receive leadership training and become interns in the Peer to Peer program that will effectively integrate leadership throughout the community.
Client Commitment:
Attend weekly classes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am – 1pm
Complete and Individual Empowerment Plan – Identify needs and mutually agreed upon goals established between the client and the case manager.
*Classes use evidence based curriculum training institute and are taught by previously incarcerated Peer Interns.
