TRCITIES Workforce Development  Program is a life informational program that will equip and empower people with the tools necessary for personal growth & career development. Our mission is to transform Pain into Purpose.

Classes are taught by previously incarcerated men and women who have successfully completed and are certified in NCTI Facilitator Training.

 

 When: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursdays (10:00am – 12:00pm)

Summer Algebra Institute 2017 – Great Success!

This  FREE six week intensive summer program aims to foster high academic achievement and college readiness among African American students through implementing culturally-based math curriculum. The project takes a cultural approach to math that can be personalized and understood by African American students. The overall goal is to generate competitive African American educational achievement, increase the proportion of college admissions and graduation rates—and ultimately contribute towards enlightened community and world class leadership for the 21st century.

  • For African American students 6th-9th grades
  • Sessions are held Monday – Friday (June 19th – August 5th) from 8:30am – 12:30pm

The 2016 Back to School Block Party was another Hugh success. Thanks to all the volunteers who participated and a Big Thanks to the individuals who donated backpacks and supplies. We gave out over 400 backpacks and school supplies. Our goal is to provide over 500 backpacks to the community. This year over 300 families enjoyed a fun day in the parking lot of the church  in Newark, Ca. The event offered evangelism, food, music, school supplies and games. This event is sponsored  by,  Tri-Cities Community Development Center, Family Bible Fellowship and  Newark Community church. All backpacks and school supplies can be dropped off at 37620 Filbert street,  Newark Ca 94560.
